New care channel support tool launches at NACC Training & Development Forum

This year’s NACC Training and Development Forum (4th-6th October) will be the launch pad for Kerrymaid’s new Care Collection support tool.

Inspired by the passion of brand ambassador Matt Dodge and the dedication of care home caterers across the UK, the Kerrymaid Care Collection brings together a host of expert knowledge, as well as tried and tested recipes that will help to stimulate the appetites of residents. The dedicated channel tool also includes tips on promoting hydration as well as creating menus for a range of different dietary requirements from fortification to dysphagia and helping those living with dementia.

The Collection’s recipes are not only categorised by day part, but include allergens and nutritional info as well as cost per portion so care homes can deliver appetising, nutritionally rich meals on budget.

In support of the launch, Kerrymaid says it is committed to helping every care home caterer provide nutritious and tasty meals and positive emotional experiences to every resident. “From our earliest memories, food is associated with safety, comfort and happiness, and often mealtimes can be the highlight of a resident’s day and is an ideal opportunity to help improve quality of life for residents.”
