HIT Training has double cause for celebration on the same day

HIT Training, parent company of Connect2Care, ended the month of February with two reasons to celebrate coming on the same day.

On 23rd February 2018 the training provider was named in the prestigious Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For, coming in at number 74 having risen up the list from 88th in 2015, and at a black-tie event at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London that very evening the company won the Training Provider of the Year award at the 2018 Tes FE Awards.

The awards judges commended HIT Training for being the first hospitality training provider to offer the new apprenticeship standards, 16 months ahead of the deadline, and for its sector-wide campaign to educate and support businesses on the new Apprenticeship Levy. They said HIT has enjoyed “a monumental past year, driving the apprenticeship agenda. With great staff development and amazing learner and employer satisfaction, clearly HIT is one of the leaders of the sector”.

In the Times Top 100 survey 90.75% of HIT and Connect2Care’s employees participated – smashing the league table’s average of 68%. The results very much supported the sentiments of the Tes judges, with 90% of employees saying they are proud to work at HIT Training, 93% believing they make a valuable contribution to the success of the company and 95% of respondents believing that HIT provides its clients with a high level of service.
