Calling all would-be thespians! Auditions are now open for the Hospitality Industry’s Pantomime and this year, it’s a take on the British classic, Dick Whittington.
There are parts for people of all theatrical inclinations – from leading ladies and gentlemen to smaller, non-speaking roles. The annual event features some of the industry’s brightest stars, from companies including Byron Burger, Barclays and Wagamama, and will run for four consecutive nights at the famous Leicester Square Theatre in London’s West End.
Would-be thespians are coached and put through their paces by a team of theatre professionals, who will whip them into shape, before putting on a highly anticipated show in the post-Christmas hospitality downtime.
All the money raised from the pantomime (including ticket sales and merchandise) goes towards supporting the ongoing work of The Springboard Charity in their mission to help some of the most disadvantaged members of our society find work within hospitality.
So don’t miss your chance to take centre-stage this January (and do your bit for the less fortunate) – make your way to www.springboard.uk.net/panto where you’ll find their sign-up sheet. Sign-ups close on the 26th October, with auditions held on the 30th & 31st October and 6th & 8th November 2018.
