Designed to challenge care chefs, the annual NACC competition is a prestigious culinary contest and you only have till 31st January 2020 to enter!
Entrants are tasked to create an innovative, tasty two-course menu (main and dessert) suitable for someone in a care setting that clearly demonstrates a strong nutritional understanding of the ingredients used, aptitude and flair in flavour combinations, technical execution and presentation. And they must do it all sticking to a strict budget of no more than £2.25 per head (based on three portions) – and in just 90 minutes!
Both NACC members and non-members are eligible to take part.
The winner will receive £600, a trophy, a residential delegate place at the NACC Training and Development Forum 2020 and an opportunity to participate in a demo at the NACC TDF.
All finalists will also receive a cash prize.
