Brakes announces sponsorship of the Outstanding Society

In a move that underlines its continued commitment to driving excellence in care catering, Brakes has become a sponsor of The Outstanding Society. As well as sharing its knowledge, expertise, Brakes will also be a regular contributor to blog posts, podcasts and events run by The Outstanding Society where it will offer valuable insight for care caterers.

The Outstanding Society (OS) was set up as a Community Interest Company (CIC) in 2021. It was formed by a small group of providers all of whom had achieved ‘Outstanding’ ratings following the introduction of the CQC inspection standard ratings in 2014. The Outstanding Society is a platform to share and celebrate best practice, which it does via virtual events, newsletters, podcasts, and the OS app, whilst helping others to improve and raise the profile of social care. These resources are free, as is membership.
