Serendipity 2 appoints Harriet Type as MD
A leading data science consultancy for the UK’s food and beverage industry, Serendipty2 has an impressive roster of clients in the food, hospitality and leisure sectors
Serendipity2, a leading data science consultancy for the UK's food and beverage industry, has announced the promotion of Harriett Type to the position of managing director. She will report directly to founder and CEO Peter Flood and will oversee the company's day-to-day operations, from 1st November.
Type's appointment marks a significant milestone in the company's 22-year history. She will take over the day-to-day operations, allowing Flood to concentrate on building key partnerships and extending client relationships, as well as increasing industry networking.
Flood states: “The key to our future success lies in our ability to adapt to the changing landscape and focus on strategic growth. Harriett’s promotion to managing director is a testament to her leadership and vision. She has been instrumental in guiding Serendipity2 through challenging post-Covid times, and we have every confidence in her ability to lead the company into a new era of prosperous success. It’s an exciting chapter for the business.”

Having joined Serendipity2 in November 2022 as client services director, Type has been instrumental in building on existing client relationships and supporting business development, as well as leading marketing strategy development.
