Located in the heart of the Somerset town of Frome, Catherine House Care Home, was recently transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland, as part of the town's Christmas festivities.
The care home, known for its commitment to fostering a sense of community, curated a festive experience by organising market stalls that showcased the talent and creativity of local businesses. Attendees were treated to a delightful array of products, including resin jewellery, jams and chutneys, and flower arrangements, among other treasures.
The market stalls not only provided an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their wares but also offered residents, who are fondly known as family members, and visitors a unique shopping experience filled with holiday cheer. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as visitors explored the diverse offerings, finding the perfect gifts for their loved ones.
Adding to the festive spirit, Catherine House Care Home hosted its very own Christmas lights switch-on ceremony. The honour of illuminating the home with the radiant glow of holiday lights was bestowed upon Hilary Crabtree, a beloved family member who is a resident at the care home.
