FEA launches Tabletop Trends newsletter

The newslestter is designed to create closer links between dealers and FEA’s LET manufacturers and supplier members by providing news, advice and insight

A leading trade organisation has launched a brand new e-newsletter dedicated to the light equipment and tableware (LET) sector. Published by the Foodservice Equipment Assocaiton (FEA) and entitledTableware Trends, it will create closer links between dealers and FEA’s LET manufacturer and supplier members, by providing news, advice and insight. The first issue covered areas as diverse as what the election means for the LET sector and why matt finishes are having a moment.

The launch follows the success of the association’s annual LET Forum, which goes from strength to strength and attracted record numbers this year. Paula Sherlock, chair of FEA’s LET Product Group and one of the prime movers behind the newsletter, explains: “The Forum is a great success, but we realised that there was no medium to carry on the communication and conversation during the rest of the year

“Accordingly, we launched Tableware Trends to fill the gap. The plan is that, as well as providing valuable content, it will also create a two-way street to help dealers and our LET members stay in touch.”

It's planned that the newsletter will come out every quarter, with the next one due in October.  Each issue will offer a mix of advice, new products, news about events and topical comment.  FEA welcomes feedback from both LET members and dealers.
