Carpigiani UK celebrates business growth with new appointments

The company has appointed Andrew Tomkins as business development manager and promoted Simon Holdsworth to the role of national account business manager

One of the UK’s leading ice cream equipment manufacturers is starting 2025 in style with two new appointments.

Carpigiani UK has announced that Andrew Tomkins, who is pictured above right, will become the company’s new business development manager. Having worked alongside some of the UK’s biggest retail and high street brands, Tomkins brings with him a wealth of sales experience and a passion for supporting his clients.

Commenting on his new role, Tomkins says: “I am delighted to join the Carpigiani team. I am excited by the prestige of the company and the variation the role offers, as it will enable me to meet both new and existing customers and help them achieve their business goals. I am no stranger to working with ice cream equipment, so I look forward to bringing this knowledge and passion to my role at Carpigiani.”

In addition, Simon Holdsworth, who is pictured above left, who was previously the business development manager for the north of England and Scotland, will now be taking on the role of national account business development manager. Previously BDM for the North of England and Scotland. Holdsworth has built solid t client relationships during his three years at Carpigiani and his new role will see him support the manufacturer’s national accounts.

Holdsworth comments: “After 12 years in the industry this is a fantastic step forward in my career. I’ve looked after general market customers in the north of England and Scotland since 2021, building great relationships with people from Anglesey to Kelso, Hull to Arran, and  everywhere in between and I’m really looking forward to helping new businesses across the UK find the best solution with Carpigiani.”
