More time to nominate care chefs as awards deadline extended

The deadline for entries for an awards ceremony celebrating care chefs who cook first class meat-free meals has been delayed.

The deadline to submit entries to Vegetarian for Life's Awards for Excellence in Vegetarian Care Catering has been pushed back.

Returning for their sixth year, the awards will this year once again be held at the Houses of Parliament, having been broadcast on Facebook and YouTube in January. This year's ceremony will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday 23rd November.

The categories for this year's awards include Veggie Care Chef of the Year, Most Innovative Veggie Dish and Veggie Wholesaler of the Year.

The deadline for nominations was initially Wednesday 31 August, but this has since been delayed to Wednesday 14 September. To nominate someone, send 200 words explaining who you are nominating and why to [email protected]Click here for more information.
