Being a NACC Member has its benefits

Recently the National Association of Care Catering (NACC) Chair, Sue Cawthray spoke at an event at the House of Lords reminding everyone that the Health and Social Care sector is in “its biggest crisis ever with real staff shortages”. Sue claimed that there are 165,000 vacancies in care services alone, are you facing these difficulties alone?

Catering for the vulnerable and elderly is challenging and demands specialist skills and knowledge, so where do you turn to when you need help or advice? Never has it been more important to consider becoming a member of the association.

The NACC believes that everyone has a right to receive good food and drink that reflects their individual nutritional, cultural, physical and emotional needs. Through its inclusive programme of regional and national events, training, campaigning, research and guidance documents it provides valuable support, information and advice to care caterers to help them achieve this. It also offers a valuable platform for like-minded professionals to connect and share ideas and best practice.

By signing up, you will receive some important additional benefits including access to ALL resources and guidance on the NACC website www.thenacc.co.uk and reduced rates for national and regional events as well as the well-respected guides such as Menu

Planning and Dining in Care Homes. The Association also offers specifically targeted training for you and your team, so you needn’t feel isolated, as the NACC offers the best opportunities for networking with like-minded people, all striving to provide the best service possible.
