A new Hallmark Luxury Care Home opens in Bath
The 80-bed home, which offers resdential, dementia and nursing care, has its own cafe, cinema, gym, hair salon and cocktail lounge
Following a £23m investment, a new Hallmark Luxury Care Home has officially opened in Bath Somerset. Midford Manor, features a cinema, café, hair salon and it’s very own gym supported by an in-house physiotherapist.
Managing director at Hallmark Luxury Care Homes, Aneurin Brown comments: “I am so proud to be part of the team who have grouped together and have made Midford Manor, the beautiful home that it is today.

Over 100 guests, including the Mayor of Bath Councillor Dine Romero, who is pictured above with with Aneurin Brown, Jenny Mann and Chair Avnish Goyal CBE, were invited to experience the opening of the new 80 bed, residential, dementia and nursing establishment, where both local businesses and care professionals were encouraged to tickle their tastebuds, enjoy demonstrations from some of the home’s 80 new team members and view thefacilities, which include the 14 luxurious suites, that form part of a unique retirement living offering called The Residences.
Residents who live at The Residences have access to a premium suite with a kitchenette, and exclusive amenities, such as a cocktail bar, fine dining restaurant with a grand piano and nearby finishing kitchen and concierge services.
Other features at the home include a sensory room to support residents living with dementia, a craft room, and a celebrations area which will be used for family gatherings and special events.
When they venture outside, residents will be able to enjoy a summer house and a gardening club area with raised planters, whie visiting grandchidren and St Mary's Garden Primary School will be able to take ful adantage of a little one's play area.
The afternoon event was concluded with speeches from the visiting dignitaries and a performance from a string quartet.
