New MKN portal speeds up service and maintenance

Safe, secure and available to access in kitchens via smartphone or tablet, engineers can register for the new portal to access information in seconds.

MKN has enhanced its support for service engineers by launching a new dedicated portal, enabling quicker parts ordering and access to key product information including operating and installation manuals.

Safe, secure and available to access in kitchens via smartphone or tablet, engineers can register for the new portal to access information in seconds. The simple interface directs users to individual MKN appliances, where they can view and download operating, installation, service, assembly and maintenance instructions, as well as exploded views of the specific product and access the latest free software updates.

Mark Town, Operations Manager at MKN UK and Ireland, said: “This is another example of how we’re working collaboratively with service engineers to deliver a better service for end users. With our tools, engineers can get to the information they need quicker, which means they complete service and preventative maintenance tasks quicker and move onto the next job more efficiently.”

The manufacturer has also added QR codes to its spare parts packaging, linking straight to assembly and mounting instructions online, and launched a new remote service for diagnostics, testing and software updates.
