Jon Mack appointed as VP of the Scottish Wholesale Association

Working closely with SWA president Tom Slaven, Mack, who is the business unit director for Bidfood Scotland, will work closely with all members to ensure future success for the sector

One of Scotland’s leading foodservice providers has announced that Jon Mack, has been appointed as the new vice president of the Scottish Wholesale Association (SWA).

With over 30 years’ experience and established relationships within the Scottish wholesale sector, Mack, who is the business unit director for Bidfood Scotland, is well placed to represent and serve all SWA members over what is hoped to be an exciting period.

Working closely with newly instated SWA president Tom Slaven, the pair will seek to champion Scottish wholesale, working closely with all members to keep on top of a continuously evolving political and economic landscape and ensure a successful future for the sector.     

Commenting on his new role, Mack says: “After over 30 years in this marvellous industry, I am honoured to be taking on the incredibly important role of vice president for the Scottish Wholesale Association.

“It’s a privilege to serve alongside such dedicated professionals, and I look forward to continuing our work to strengthen and support the wholesale sector throughout Scotland.”
