Scottish care home appoints new manager

In her new role Shelley Watters will ensure that residents enjoy fulfilled lives and the highest quality care

Antonine House care home, part of leading Scottish care provider Meallmore, has announced the appointment of new manager, Shelley Watters. 

The 81-bed luxury facility in Bearsden near Glasgow in East Dnbartonshire, cares for residents with a range of support needs, such as dementia and palliative care. As general manager, Walters will oversee the home’s management and ensure that residents enjoy fulfilled lives while receiving the highest quality care that is tailored to their individual needs.

Commenting on her appointment, Wtlters says: “I’m very excited to have taken on this role with Antonine House. We have an exceptionally strong team, and we constantly strive to provide high quality, personalised care in Bearsden, for all the people who live with us. It’s important to me as care home manager that our wonderful residents are happy and that their loved ones know that they are in safe hands and receiving the highest quality care.

Having spent almost 20-years in the care sector, Watters initially began her career as a care assistant and has since become well established within the industry, clocking up a total of nine years’ care home management experience and also serving as a freelance health care trainer, when she delivered moving, positioning and first aid training.
